A FREE-SPIRITED GIRL IN NEED OF A BREAK. A MAN WEIGHED DOWN BY RESPONSIBILITY. A ROAD TRIP VACATION WHERE ALL BETS ARE OFF. OH, AND A LOT OF WINE. After walking in on her boyfriend shagging another girl in their place, Pippa Bay Cox ditches London for the States to go on a drunken road trip with Ruby Miller and some of her Beautiful friends. Scaling the career ladder is the default way to deal with heartbreak—and to just deal—for Jensen Bergstrom. Absolutely buried by his drive and workload, he rarely takes time for himself. But when his sister Hanna convinces him to join the gang on a two-week wine tour, he has a rare moment of cutting loose. Of course, it’s only once he’s committed that he realizes the strange girl he met briefly on the plane is coming along, too. She might be too much for him…or he might realize his life has become too small and needs her to make it bigger, crazier. With this circle of friends there’s always something going on: from Chloe and Sara’s unexpected personality swaps to Will’s new domestic side to Bennett’s text message barrage and George’s own happily-ever-after. In short, their adventures in love, friendship, and hilarity are nothing short of Beautiful.

Pippa Cox is not happy with life at all. After walking in on her boyfriend with another woman, Pippa realizes she wants more. When her friend Ruby and the rest of the Beautiful cast, invites her to join a two week wine tour, it doesn't take much convincing for Pippa. Leaving behind everything, she hops on a plane and heads straight for Boston. On the ride there, she happens to be seated next to a handsome American - but unfortunately Pippa doesn't make the best impression and spends the entire flight drunk and relaying her entire life story.

After the sudden divorce from his wife six years ago, Jensen Bergstrom hasn't had a relaxing moment in years - it's all about work for him. His sister and friends worry about him and decide they won't take no for an answer when they invite him on their wine tour. But things take a shock when Jensen realizes the extra friend Ruby brought along is the same woman from the plane.

Awkward tension is in the air at first but as the wine tour goes on, the chemistry between Jensen and Pippa grows and it doesn't go unnoticed by the rest of the group. Can Pippa be the woman that Jensen so desperately needs and can Jensen be the man that Pippa is looking for? Or will they both go their separate ways in the end?

A few months ago, I had picked up the first book in the series, Beautiful Bastard, but couldn't quite get into it unfortunately. I decided to give Beautiful a go and I am SO happy I did! This story made me want to pick up the rest of the books in the series - I'm especially excited for Will and Hannah's story because they had me giggling throughout the entire book!

This book was all sorts of fun that had me laughing, smiling and even blushing on the occasion. Pippa and Jensen are two entirely different people from two different worlds so it was really fun to see how they would be with each other. When Jensen was reserved and quiet, Pippa wouldn't hesitate to jump in and light the room up with some laughter which was nice to see. All of the characters were charming, witty and fun and even though I finished this book almost two weeks ago, I can't help but want to pick it up again!

Christina Lauren wrote the perfect conclusion to the Beautiful series and I can't recommend this one enough. It had everything I wanted and more - romance, humor, characters you can't help but root for and of course, a beautiful ending. I'll definitely be picking up the rest in the series for sure!

  1. Beautiful Bastard was so weird because the guy's fam was literally named after the Cullens from Twilight, lol. I prefer the next books, but I haven't continued this series for so long, heh.
