It’s been ten years since Nicolette Farrell left her rural hometown after her best friend, Corinne, disappeared from Cooley Ridge without a trace. Back again to tie up loose ends and care for her ailing father, Nic is soon plunged into a shocking drama that reawakens Corinne’s case and breaks open old wounds long since stitched. The decade-old investigation focused on Nic, her brother Daniel, boyfriend Tyler, and Corinne’s boyfriend Jackson. Since then, only Nic has left Cooley Ridge. Daniel and his wife, Laura, are expecting a baby; Jackson works at the town bar; and Tyler is dating Annaleise Carter, Nic’s younger neighbor and the group’s alibi the night Corinne disappeared. Then, within days of Nic’s return, Annaleise goes missing. Told backwards—Day 15 to Day 1—from the time Annaleise goes missing, Nic works to unravel the truth about her younger neighbor’s disappearance, revealing shocking truths about her friends, her family, and what really happened to Corinne that night ten years ago.

All the Missing Girls is a suspenseful and addictive read, one to keep you reading late into the night!

All the Missing Girls tells of Nicolette Farrell, who left the little town of Cooley Ridge after the disappearance of her best friend, Corinne. After almost ten years, she returns to help take care of her father and fix up her family home with the help of her brother, Daniel. For the past few years, Nicolette has made a new life for herself in Pennsylvania with her handsome, lawyer fiancee Everette. Not long after arriving back home, Annaleise Carter, another girl everyone knew from when they were kids, disappears and the town has yet again gone into a frenzy of whispers and suspicions. Nicolette now tries to unveil the truth about both Corinne and Annaleise's disappearances all while discovering shocking truths about her family and friends.

Although I was a little bit hesitant about the book at first, Miranda certainly didn't disappoint me in the end! The writing style was gorgeous -- every line of the story flowed gracefully, with great amount of detail, which made it easier for me to picture the story in my head. The story is told in reverse, something that I absolutely loved about the book. Once we got to the first chapter, it fast-forwards to fifteen days and from there, the story is told in reverse, showing us exactly what happened in the last two weeks -- sometimes even into the past. I've never read a book like this and I can honestly say that Miranda executed it perfectly!

With our characters, I had a huge liking to them all. They were developed well and each had their own secrets and lies, which made it even more exciting to see how everything all unraveled. One of the things I also loved about the book was the way Miranda gave us readers a chance to see Nicolette develop without a love interest being the main focus. Yes, there definitely was some romance sprinkled into the book, but it wasn't the main area of the story and instead, it focused on other aspects which made the story even more enjoyable for me.

All the Missing Girls is without a doubt one of the most thrilling reads I've read this year, so far. This suspense-filled novel grabbed my attention from page one, and I was addicted to the world the author had created. This book is sure to keep you up till three in the morning, flipping page after page, becoming hooked as I was.  Megan Miranda should certainly be on your summer reading list because this title is not to be missed!
