I am finally writing up more reviews! I wrote a review today and will have it up probably after this bash! Unfortunately, it turned out to be a two star read for me, but hopefully someone else who reads it will like it more than I did.

She will be giving away one signed copy of My Secret Diamond Sisters, Diamonds in the Rough and a swag pack! How awesome is that?! Savannah. Courtney. Peyton.
The three sisters grew up not knowing their father and not quite catching a break. But it looks like their luck is about to change when they find out the secret identity of their long-lost dad—a billionaire Las Vegas hotel owner who wants them to come live in a gorgeous penthouse hotel suite.
Suddenly the Strip's most exclusive clubs are all-access, and with an unlimited credit card each, it should be easier than ever to fit right in. But in a town full of secrets and illusion, fitting in is nothing compared to finding out the truth about their past.
Hi Michelle! I am so happy to have you stop by the blog today! Before we get the interview started, would you like to tell us a little bit about yourself?
Michelle lives in Boca Raton, Florida, where she is writing more novels for young adults. She loves reading, spending time with family and friends, traveling the world, shopping, Disney fairy tales, Broadway musicals, and loves talking with fans on Facebook.
1. What gave you the idea to write The Secret Diamond Sister series? Was it a long time idea or did it just come to you randomly?
I got the idea when I was walking around my favorite hotel in Las Vegas, called The Wynn. It’s a BEAUTIFUL hotel, and walking through it feels like being in an enchanted wonderland. As I was looking around, I thought, “I wish I lived here!” But obviously, I can’t move into a hotel in Vegas. So I created a story about three sisters who do
2. What was the most difficult part in writing it?
The first draft is always the hardest for me, because drafting is a marathon, not a sprint. I write 1,000 words every day, and when I’m in the middle of the draft, sometimes it feels like I’ll never finish! But I push through anyway. The Secret Diamond Sisters is told through four alternating points of view (Savannah, Courtney, Peyton, and Madison), so I had to put a lot of work into making sure that the voice of each girl was distinctive. Writing from so many points of view was a huge challenge for me, but it’s really helped me grow as a writer!
3. Are there any parts in the series that you feel particularly close to? If so, what would it be?
I don’t want to give any spoilers, but Chapter Four in Diamonds in the Rough was my favorite to write. It’s a chapter from Madison’s point of view. It’s when she discovers something HUGE that will ultimately turn her from someone the readers dislike in the first book to someone who they end of sympathizing with. I’d known this scene was going to happen from the beginning of the series, and I had a blast writing it.
4. During the cover design process (I bet that’s always the fun part!) where you able to voice what you wanted/pictured?
I love the beautiful covers for the series that Harlequin created! They provided me with cover worksheets, so I could explain what each character looks like (I was able to provide celebrity lookalikes), and tell them about any special locations/symbols in the books. The cover designers created four possibilities for what the books would look like, and then came to a decision about which one they would use. While I wasn’t given say, I agreed with their decision one hundred percent! I LOVE MY COVERS!
5. Do you have any upcoming projects? If so, can you let us in on a sneak peak?
Diamonds are Forever releases on October 27, so I’m so excited for that! I can’t wait to see what the readers think about how I ended the series. I also recently turned in a manuscript for a completely new book to my agent. It’s also in the YA genre, and while I’m unable to say anything more about it at this time, it’s different from anything I’ve written yet. I’m very proud of it and am crossing my fingers for it to go far!
What a fun interview! Thank you once again Michelle for stopping by and congratulations on your amazing series! (I’m very excited to read Diamonds Are Forever! ;) )
