Sassy's Valentines Day Bash - Katie McGarry! Interview & Giveaway!

Ah, the day of love. If you are spending this day with a significant other, or are spending the day, like me, reading a good young adult romance book and watching a bit of The 100 hotties on tv, rock on! I've got my chocolate covered strawberries and my Bellamy Blake to keep me company. ;)

Valentines Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate it than with chocolates in one hand and a YA novel filled with hot guys and spicy romance?

So wrong for each other…and yet so right.

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth.

But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common.

Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can PUSH THE LIMITS and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her HOW TO LOVE AGAIN.

Hi Katie! I’m so happy you are stopping by today! I recently read your Pushing The Limits novel and I am in love with it!

1.Tell us, what was the hardest part in writing Pushing the Limits?

Breaking Noah’s heart was the toughest part of writing Pushing the Limits. Noah is such a strong character and he tries to prove to the world that he feels nothing and that he’s tough, but on the inside he’s very broken. He misses his family. It was so tough to write certain scenes between Noah and his brothers.

2. What do you do when you’re not writing?

I’m a mom of three very active children. When I’m not writing, I’m usually hanging out with them.

3. Do you have any upcoming projects this year? If so, can you give us a sneak peak?

Yes! I have a brand new series and the first book will be released on May 26, 2015. The first book in the Thunder Road series is called Nowhere But Here. It follows teens who are raised in a motorcycle club. I’ll share with you the first paragraph of Emily’s chapter:

Top three awful moments of my life:
Meeting my biological father at ten
Breaking my arm in three spots at nine
Falling into a hole and being trapped there overnight with a dead body at eight
Other than that, I love my life.

Thank you so much for stopping by Katie and have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
